Simultaneity

I was thinking this morning of how in the world of lucid dreaming or transformative imagery rules do not apply - you can be in multiple places at the same time, you can ignore physical limits. I wonder if that is what makes quantum computers so potentially powerful - having electrons carrying bits of information instantly, because they exist in multiple places at once, ignoring limitations of cabling and heat and bus - basically, simply jumping outside the mathematic of electronics by literally operating outside that particular logic.
