I wonder why the most precious fruits fade the fastest, the avocado, perfect for only the shortest moment, ripe and fading a few hours hence released from its leathery womb.
I wonder if that is why the child is so precious in the otherwise bloody moment of the birth, the elderly in their final hours, as if life's value is inversely proportionate to the rise and fall of the bell curve of a life span.
Maybe even celebrated with corn chips.
