Sustainability

One of the simple equations for good living is not to buy something at a price or even buy something at all that cannot provide a quality of life you would not want to deprive another being. That may not necessarily mean riches, or great sacrifice, but for me, I would like to find a measure by which I can know that the people who produce a product I consume have decent healthcare, decent education, decent shelter, decent access to expression in all its manifest forms, including free speech - those inalienable rights.
