Now that I have a santuko blade, I wonder how I cooked so long without. Small movements done repetitively add up to much saved energy and increased efficiency.
I am also a bigger believer than ever in the benefits of an upright orbital sander for the homeowner doing his or her own sanding. The fact that it takes longer than a drum sander is part of the point.
I agree. Those knives rule. Occasioanlly, I will cut myself on the squared edge near your hand.
By the way, if you are doing a lot of effort in using your knives, try sharpening them.
